Madhu’s family established many schools in Delhi, India. They created learning opportunities for many children who didn’t have access to education. As Mathematics and Early Childhood Teachers Akhil’s parents helped many children experience a better life. As a successful business executive, Madhu has spent her career putting clients and colleagues needs first. At the same time, Akhil has proudly served as an executive for the Department of Defense. Our family includes a son and daughter who attended medical and engineering school. Ms. Amanda has been with Goddard since February of 2022 and has over 10 years of experience in Early Childhood Education; 8 years of experience as a Director and holds a degree in Early Childhood Development as well as a college credential in Childcare Administration. When asked what makes her love the job she does, she believes that the earliest years are the most important for setting the foundation for lifelong learning, social development and confidence. Amanda strives to be part of that critical beginning, helping children grow through curiosity and play while also supporting teachers, families and the community. In her personal time, Ms. Amanda makes lasting memories with her four children.
Ms. Linda joined The Goddard School in the winter of 2024 and brings over 20 years of experience in early childhood education, with the last 10 years as a Preschool Director. She has been happily married for 29 years and is a proud mom to two grown sons. Working with children brings her so much joy, and she is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child can grow, learn, and thrive. She believes it is a privilege to partner with families during these important early years, and is committed to helping each child feel valued, supported, and excited about learning.
I have been with The Goddard School for the past 14 years and I have been working in education for many years. I love working with children. They bring me joy and purpose. Teaching is my passion and I truly enjoy getting to know our young students. For fun, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my grandson.
Ms. Ally has been with the Goddard School since spring of 2025. She has 8 years of experience working with preschool age children and is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Development. In her free time, she enjoys planting, creating art and loving her pet cat. Allison's love of children comes from being able to watch them grow and see them reach their full potential.
With a degree in Business and over eight years of experience teaching young children, Ms. Dri brings warmth, creativity, and dedication to her classroom each day. She currently teaches the toddler two year old program at the school, where she is known for building strong connections with her students and families. Originally from Brazil, Dri blends her cultural background with a passion for early childhood development. When she's not teaching, she loves exploring nature with her son, Hunter and spending time with family.
Ms. Julie has been with The Goddard School since March of 2024, and has over 12 years of experience working with preschool children. Julie is currently pursuing her college credential in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis on preschool development. She believes that working in this field is her true calling and that the satisfaction of seeing children grow and learn makes it all worth while! In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family by shopping and playing board/card games.
Ms. Jyoti has been working with children since 2022 and has been at the school since 2024. She holds a Masters degree in communications. Jyoti has a strong understanding of the developmental needs of children and is skilled in creating, engaging, focusing on growth, patience, respect and educational activities within the classroom. Jyoti believes that working with children is fulfilling, rewarding and making a difference is why she is in the field. The opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of the children she works with makes her love what she does. In her spare time, she enjoys practicing yoga, cooking, photographing, reading, gardening and travelling.
Ms. Kim has been working for The Goddard School since June of 2023 and holds an associates degree in General Studies. Ms. Kim loves coming in and seeing how happy and energetic the children are and being able to watch their creativity soar is truly rewarding for her. In addition, one of her highlights is seeing a child take their first steps. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym, shopping and going out with friends and family.
Ms. Esma has been with The Goddard School of Ashburn since June of 2023 and has been with the franchise for over 14 years as of 2025! She loves caring for babies because she finds joy in nurturing and comforting them. It is very rewarding to her when she can also assist families with feeding, sleeping and other tips from her decades of experience. In her spare time, Ms. Esma like shopping, reading, and listening to music with her three children.
With over 35 year of experience as well as nurturing and patience demeaner, Ms. Pamela is our Lead teacher in the Get Set room! Ms. Pam has a college credential in Childhood Development with a concentration in the preschool age. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her grandbabies as well as thrift shopping! Fun fact: Ms. Amanda has worked with Pamela for over a decade!
Ms. Subha has been working for The Goddard School since August of 2024 and has over ten years of experience teaching kindergarten. Her qualifications include a Bachelors in English Literature as well as a college credential in Early Childhood Development. When ask what makes her enjoy her job, she said "Working with young children is fun and brings in joyful and positive environment everyday. I feel a sense of accomplishment when I see the young minds grow academically, socially, emotionally and physically." In her spare time, Ms. Subha loves to garden!
Who we like to call "the heart of the school," Ms. Ely has been with us since the Summer of 2012! Ms. Ely is our chameleon of the school, and is able to join in with any classroom. She also helps with food service and transportation. In her spare time, Ely enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Ms. Farnoush has been working with The Goddard School since September of 2016! She is currently our school-age and art enrichment teacher. Her passion of working with children comes from the rewards of when children see their full potential in not only their academics but in the arts. In her spare time, she loves to garden and spend time with her family.
Ms. Leticia has 26 years of experience in the field and has been with our school since July of 2021. She enjoys reading stories to the children and being apart of their growth and development. When not at the school, Ms. Leticia enjoys walks and going to church.
Ms. Lily has been working with the Goddard school for 2 years and has experience working with all age groups, bringing a fun and educational twist to every classroom she enters. She enjoys teaching language arts and sensory development using art and music.
As a caregiver for The Goddard School since May of 2022, Ms. Noemy's true passion is working with babies. Her nurturing and warm demeanor makes a baby's transition into the classroom, seamless. Noemy has over 16 years of experience working as an infant caregiver (fun fact: she has cared for all 4 of Ms. Amanda's children... ages 10, 7, 3 and 2 months). In her spare time, Ms. Noemy enjoys baking and spending time with her family.
Ms. Rubya has been working with children for 2 years and has been at our school since February of 2025. In her country of Bangladesh, she was also a teacher at an elementary school. Ms. Rubya attributes her love of children by being able to coach the children and set them up for success. As a teacher, her philosophy is that all children are unique and must have a stimulating environment for education where they can grow. Her biggest goal is to ensure that children find fun in their learning environment from an early age. Rubya has a Masters degree from Bangladesh. In her spare time, she enjoys reading books and watching documentaries. In addition, Ms. Rubya also loves to travel and garden.
With a heart full of compassion and a gentle touch, Ms. Sorna brings warmth and dedication to our infant classroom. She has 10+ years of experience working with infants in Goddard school of Ashburn and holds an associate degree in accounting. Her nurturing nature helps our littlest learners feel safe, loved, and supported as they grow and explore the world around them. Ms. Sorna is passionate about early development and loves creating a calm, engaging space where every baby can thrive. When she’s not in the classroom, Ms. Sorna loves traveling and exploring new cultures around the world. She enjoys learning about different traditions, foods, and languages — experiences that help her bring a global perspective into her teaching. Her adventures often inspire stories and songs that she shares with the infants, sparking curiosity and joy even at the earliest age.
Mr. Solomon has been with The Goddard School of Ashburn since November of 2023. He is our Mandarin teacher from China! Mr. Solomon goes to the preschool, prekindergarten, junior kindergarten and Kindergarten classrooms on a weekly basis to introduce the Mandarin language to the children. In his spare time, he like to go shopping with his wife and is expecting a baby girl in Fall of 2025!
